The COVID Emergency Release, Pilot Edition V3, 6–12 Math is currently called Carnegie Learning 6–12 Texas Math Solution and includes teacher guides and student resources for learning together and individually. The vendor Carnegie Learning provided the base material for teachers to gain digital access to clearly articulated, coherent Texas Essential Knowledge and Skill (TEKS) aligned modules with daily lesson plans, ongoing formative assessment opportunities, and summative topic assessments. 

The agency developed these learning resources as a contingency option for school districts during COVID. All resources are optional. Prior to publication, materials go through a rigorous third-party review. Review criteria include TEKS alignment, support for all learners, progress monitoring, implementation supports, and more. Products also are subject to a focus group of Texas educators. However these are pilot materials and will not be submitted for IMRA Review.

Currently, 6–12 Math COVID Emergency Release Pilot Edition is available for transparent review on the Texas Gateway and offers all the necessary components of a high-quality curriculum with additional tools to help teachers with lesson planning and prep, plus resources to help families support learning at home.
