In this course, students will build understanding of the following modules: Place Value, Rounding, and Algorithms for Addition and Subtraction; Place Value, Rounding, and Algorithms for Addition and Subtraction; Multi-Digit Multiplication and Division; Angle Measure and Plane Figures; Fraction Equivalence, Ordering, and Operations; Decimal Fractions and Financial Literacy; and Exploring Measurement with Multiplication and Data.
You will find teacher and student materials for each module to guide the instruction and facilitate learning. Each module is broken up into coherent topics that allow students to develop solid conceptual understanding, practice procedural skills and fluency, and apply what they learn in real-world scenarios.
The agency developed these learning resources as a contingency option for school districts during COVID. All resources are optional. Prior to publication, materials go through a rigorous third-party review. Review criteria include TEKS alignment, support for all learners, progress monitoring, implementation supports, and more. Products also are subject to a focus group of Texas Educators.
