1 The Revised Math TEKS (Grades K–8): Achieving Fluency and Proficiency
The goals for participation are to define computational fluency, automaticity, mathematical proficiency, and conceptual understanding; to examine the learning progressions for computational fluency; to make connections between computational fluency, mathematical proficiency, and the process standards; and to explore computational fluency and mathematical proficiency activities. This training, previously available in Texas Courses, is now openly available but does not earn course provider credit and no certificate will be offered.
1 The Revised Math TEKS (Grades K–8): Applying the Mathematical Process Standards
The goals for participation are to become familiar with the revised mathematical process standards and compare them to the current underlying processes and mathematical tools, to explore resources on the Texas Gateway, and to amplify instructional tasks. This training, previously available in Texas Courses, is now openly available but does not earn course provider credit and no certificate will be offered.

The goals for participation are to become familiar with the focal points and TEKS comparison documents, to examine how to use the documents to improve overall mathematics instruction, and to explore vertical alignment of mathematical concepts and processes. This training, previously available in Texas Courses, is now openly available but does not earn course provider credit and no certificate will be offered.
5 The Revised Math TEKS (Grades K–8) with Supporting Documents
The goals for participation are to become familiar with the focal points and the TEKS comparison documents, to examine how to use the documents to improve overall mathematics instruction, and to explore vertical alignment of mathematical concepts and processes within the Revised TEKS (2012). This training, previously available in Texas Courses, is now openly available but does not earn course provider credit and no certificate will be offered.
Mathematics Achievement Academy, Leadership Overview Trainer Resource
In this training, participants will identify instructional components that develop fluency and number sense, review the structure of the Mathematics Achievement Academy system, understand appropriate applications of problem solving and discourse in the mathematics classroom and identify components of the Mathematics Achievement Academies in instructional practices and support implementation of Mathematics Achievement Academy content.

ESTAR II Intervention Modules

CER Updates
On July 31, 2025, the CER pilot instructional materials that align with State Board of Education (SBOE)-approved Bluebonnet Learning materials will be removed from all TEA platforms [e.g., TEA Instructional materials website, Texas Gateway, Test Delivery System (TDS), OER-Assessment Viewing Application (AVA)].
The following CER pilot instructional materials will remain available until they are approved by the SBOE through the Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) process:

Bluebonnet Learning Updates
In November 2024, the following Bluebonnet Learning Edition 1 instructional materials were approved through the IMRA process by the SBOE:

Secondary Mathematics (Grades 6–8, Algebra I)
These instructional materials, as well as implementation supports and the Bluebonnet Learning pilot programs, will be available on the new Bluebonnet Learning Portal. The Bluebonnet Learning Portal will allow open access to all Bluebonnet Learning instructional materials, for any Texan, with no login necessary.
Covid Emergency Release, Pilot EditionsThe COVID Emergency Release Pilot Edition V2 K-5 Math is currently called Eureka Math TEKS Edition and was built based on Texas standards. Students develop conceptual understanding, practice procedural skills and fluency, and apply what they learn in real-world scenarios. All topics are linked across modules and grade levels to help students build an enduring understanding of math through rigorous instruction.
The Texas Education Agency developed these learning resources as one option for school districts during COVID. The use of these resources is optional. Prior to publication, materials went through a rigorous third-party review. Review criteria included TEKS alignment, support for all learners, progress monitoring, implementation supports, and more. These are pilot materials and will not be submitted for IMRA Review. These materials have been revised through our continuous improvement process to form our first non-emergency edition which was submitted to the State Board of Education (SBOE) as part of the Instructional Materials and Review (IMRA) 2024 process.

Pilot Kindergarten Spanish Math
En este curso, los estudiantes desarrollarán su comprensión de los siguientes módulos: Números hasta el 10, formas bidimensionales y tridimensionales; Comparación de longitud, peso, capacidad y números hasta 10; Pares de números, suma y resta hasta 10; Números del 10 al 20, Contar hasta 100 y Comprender el trabajo; y analizar, comparar y componer formas.
Encontrará materiales para maestro/a y estudiantes para cada módulo para guiar la instrucción y facilitar el aprendizaje. Cada módulo se divide en temas coherentes que permiten a los estudiantes desarrollar una comprensión conceptual sólida, practicar habilidades y fluidez de procedimientos y aplicar lo que aprenden en escenarios del mundo real.
La agencia desarrolló estos recursos de aprendizaje como una opción de contingencia para los distritos escolares durante el COVID. Todos los recursos son opcionales. Antes de su publicación, los materiales pasan por una revisión rigurosa. Los criterios de revisión incluyen alineación de TEKS, apoyo para todos los alumnos, seguimiento del progreso, apoyos para la implementación y más. Los productos también están sujetos a un grupo focal de Educadores de Texas.
Pilot Grade 1 Spanish Math
En este curso, los estudiantes desarrollarán su comprensión de los siguientes módulos: sumas y diferencia hasta 10, introducción al valor posicional mediante la suma y resta hasta 20, Ordenar y comparar medidas de longitud como números, valor posicional, comparación, suma y resta hasta 40, identificación, composición y partición de formas y valor posicional, comparación, comprensión del ingreso con suma y resta hasta 100.
Encontrará materiales para maestro/a y estudiantes para cada módulo para guiar la instrucción y facilitar el aprendizaje. Cada módulo se divide en temas coherentes que permiten a los estudiantes desarrollar una comprensión conceptual sólida, practicar habilidades y fluidez de procedimientos y aplicar lo que aprenden en escenarios del mundo real.
