Mathematics Achievement Academy, Grade 4 Trainer Resource
Through hands on activities focusing on grade 4 student expectations for whole number operations and fraction concepts, these trainings are designed to strengthen participants’ knowledge of mathematics’ concepts and procedures; improve overall mathematics instruction; and lead to student success on statewide assessments and post-secondary readiness.
8 ELL Foundations—Guidance and Support for ELLs
This training provides educators with foundational knowledge of the essential elements to consider in providing guidance and support for English Language Learners (ELLs). This training, previously available in Texas Courses, is now openly available but does not earn course provider credit and no certificate will be offered. The course will be available for credit in summer 2020.
7 Title III, Enhancing Instructional Opportunities for Immigrant Students
This course details the accountability Title III, Part A funded local educational agencies (LEAs) are held to while providing services for immigrant children and youth. 6 Title III, Part A Services for Non-Profit Schools
Title III, Part A Services for Private Non-Profit Schools details the responsibilities that local educational agencies (LEAs) have in providing equitable Title III, Part A services to eligible private non-profit (PNP) school English learners (ELs), their teachers, and other educational personnel. The course outlines best practices for implementing parental and family programs and activities required under Title III, Part A, Section 3115 (d)(6) and (e)(1)(A).
